Adpump aims to establish a blockchain project in the affiliate ad network space.  The company is currently in existence, operating as a traditional affiliate network with over $2 million in revenue last year.  Adpump is looking to utilize funds raised from its ICO to build and implement a blockchain technology for advertisers, publishers, and affiliates.  ADP tokens will be used as the form of payment on Adpump’s blockchain affiliate marketplace; allowing publishers to buy traffic from Adpump’s partners in tokens and later convert them into new transactions.  Adpump’s project seeks to offer numerous benefits not currently available in the digital marketing space; a decentralized tracking marketplace with the list of CPA advertisers who pay fixed commission to Adpump for tracking platform usage as well as access to the list of publishers who advertisers can switch on or off based on preference. This ensures maximum benefit for advertisers as they don’t have to pay the commission for every transaction and can contact publishers they work with without intermediaries.  Adpump will also offer a transparent platform for publishers with open access to statistics where they can check traffic, conversion, average click price, etc.  All data about offers, terms and conditions, conversions and payments will also be stored in Adpump’s blockchain.

PROS:  Established, although relatively small002Dscale business, management team’s experience and understanding of the current space and the value proposition of blockchain in addressing its customers’ pain points

CONS:  Relatively young management team and advisory board with little to no blockchain experience, advisory board consists of serial entrepreneurs and a “small-time” celebrity with no relevant experience, current discount of 50% on ADP may encourage a “pump & dump” scenario as well as increased trading volatility over the short term
