Crafty is a platform that connects various specialty service providers with their contractors, without charging any intermediation fee or centralized intervention.  Current labor relations are not enough to promote happiness and trust between people, generating friction and, consequently, waste of resources.  Information asymmetry is the root of most of the waste of wealth, which is paid by all through higher transaction costs and additional energy expenditure.  Crafty aims to tackle these problems by turning workers into skilled entrepreneurs / professionals (fully informed, integrated and tuned into the market) and by allowing contractors to effectively evaluate their best options to hire people (genuinely evaluated, qualified and suitable for a specific task).

 

PROS:  Head-start as Crafty will leverage the existing Diarissima platform (25,000 users, 160 cities), management team has on-board talent to successfully deliver the project, advertising free platform ensures that contracts are based on reputation and need rather than appeal (more equitable for small / individual operators).

 

CONS: Small, tech-heavy management team lacks “business” acumen / experience, large amount of dollars raised (60%) will be dedicated to marketing, the success or failure of this marketing campaign will determine user adoption rates and ultimately the long-term viability of the project, reputation driven platform for customer / contractor interface is not a revolutionary idea, CFTY token does not have to be used to pay for services rendered, token can be used to purchase products of “partners”, yet no partnerships are disclosed.
