RewardMob allows Game Developers to acquire players more easily and at less cost. When new games are added to the community, the active users from these games are given an option to create an account with RewardMob so that they can earn rewards and compete in tournaments. These users are then exposed to all of the other games on the platform. Once players grow accustomed to earning rewards and tokens, the team believes they will be much more likely to search for a new game within the community, rather than search outside the platform for new games to play. RewardMob creates a new revenue stream for the Game Developer through free-to-play & pay-to-play tournaments.
PROS: Highly accomplished management team with decades of experience, management team passed KYC check, building on the Waves platform will increase transaction speed and provide long-term scalability of the project, pay to play and reward incentivized gaming are expected to grow significantly in the coming years, reward-based gaming in the form of compensation could be seen as a form of gambling (U.S. regulatory risk).
CONS: Roadmap for project does not provide detailed milestones nor much of a forward looking path for the project, the gaming and eSports sector of blockchain ICOs is highly competitive, longterm success of the project is hard to determine as there is yet to be a clear / dominant blockchain based eSports platform, success of platform will be highly dependent upon attracting highly talented independent game designers outside of the project management team.
